The Club
Gentofte Hockey Klub is situated in the north of Copenhagen and has about 90 active members. The club offers exciting and challenging hockey for people in all ages including men's-, women's-, junior's- and veteran's teams. Currently the club has teams in 1st and 2nd division. The teams consist of Danish as well as international players from all around the world including Australia, Finland, Ireland, Germany and England. So if you are studying, working or just visiting Denmark for a longer period you are more than welcome to come and join the club.
Events
Every year Gentofte Hockey Klub travels abroad to compete in various hockey festivals and tournaments. The main aim of these kinds of events is to play some good hockey and at the same time have some fun. Holland, Belgium, Germany and Sweden are some of the countries the club has visited within the last couple of years. Besides competing in hockey tournaments, Gentofte Hockey Klub is the 'masterbrain' behind the annual 'Copenhagen Hockey Festival' witch is 7-a-side tournament for domestic and international teams. The tournament offers a lot of exciting hockey action during the day and the 'ritual' party at night.

In the outdoor season (from April to October) Gentofte Hockey Klub's Astroturf pitch is located at Gentofte Stadion:

, a mere 5 minutes walk from JÆGERBORG STATION. To get to JÆGERSBORG STATION you only need a 10 minutes ride by train (lines B, B+) from Copenhagen Central Station.
